Finally, I released major update version of Minutes.

Minutes 2

This version has four visual themes: wood pattern, black transparent, moss green and red cloth. You can launch any timers with your mood.

This version has four visual themes: wood pattern, black transparent, moss green and red cloth. You can launch any timers with your mood.

Also added its own dialog. It works without Growl. I think that Growl is used and well known by heavy Mac users as optional application. It is a little difficult for home users. I had deleted this plug-in so it got higher consistency.

New beep sounds I really like are created by Kazki Miura who is a composer and Cocoa programmer. These soft sounds match the visual themes. Included several loop sounds, you can use Minutes as alarm clock.

Anyway this is all new timer. Horatiu, try cooking again!

I’m introducing Minutes! It is a countdown timer application featuring polished graphics and advanced interface. It works on Mac OS X Dashboard.

Nitram+Nunca › Minutes Widget

I created Dial Interface for Minutes in which user can use by intuition. You just dial the knob only, you can set the counting time. Not needed clicking buttons many times, not needed editing textbox. It is very easy, simple and smart. Dial Interface helps its look be simplified. And more, I designed interactions, like fading animations and moving slider knob. It helps you to understand whether Minutes is counting and how long until the target time. Also the light fading gradually relaxes you who are managing your time.

Minutes is programmed by HMDT. When I started creating this widget, because this has unique interface and many smooth interactions, I realized that an excellent Mac OS X engineer is necessary. So I tried to ask HMDT for this. He is very famous as a Cocoa programmer in Japan. He has offered many solutions of functionalities I had requested. Great technology made Minutes be highly polished. I’m glad to publish this wonderful product now.

This Minutes is download for free. I hope this supports you in various situation. Enjoy with your Mac!

Also the downloads were changed. This site had offered various software for free. But when I tried to relaunch the site, I thought to be needed to discard the products because they are old-fashioned. Instead of these, I am just creating a new downloads now. This is an application, is simple and has smart functionality, and is required Mac OS X 10.4 or later.

In the blog, I’ll post articles covering my thoughts of human interface design and graphic design. but here is one problem. Perhaps my English is so curious (as you know). But I want to tell, discuss and share with you any issue of design. First, I’ll post my thought and method of creating web browser with an example of Shiira.
